In Graduate School I did a Study Abroad in Turkey and was struck by the beauty of the ruins of Ancient Civilizations in Ephesus, Istanbul, Bodrum and along the Mediterranean in Crete and Greece - I promised myself that one day I would build my own house as a 1000 year home and leave a beautiful ruin. In my quest to learn more about sustainable building techniques - I took a weekend workshop with Colorado Earth- taught by Jim Hallock and fell completely in love with Earth Construction.
